Capture your iPhone
Use your iPhone in iPhone Mirroring on your Mac. Each tap is a step.

What you need
- A Mac with macOS Sequoia or later, and an iPhone with iOS 18 or later.
- Both signed in with the same Apple Account.
- iPhone Mirroring is not available in the European Union.
Capture
- 1Open the desktop app and choose iPhone under What are you capturing.
- 2Press Open iPhone Mirroring and start. iPhone Mirroring opens, comes to the front at full size, and the capture starts.
- 3Unlock your iPhone in that window if asked, then use it with your mouse and keyboard.
- 4Press Done.
Each tap is a step, typing counts too, and every screenshot shows just the phone. Clicks outside the phone are left out of the guide.
TipPhone guides mark each tap with a circle and show screenshots in a phone frame. You can change the marker in the editor.
NoteWith Stage Manager on, iPhone Mirroring may sit in the side strip. The app brings it to the front for you when the capture starts.
